Unbelievable!

After reading this post on Monkey Muck, I followed his link, which took me to Conservapedia, the conservative answer to the "liberally-biased Wikipedia." At first, I couldn't tell if it was serious or a joke, but it soon became apparent that it was for real. I was even blocked from viewing one page because my ISP is located in Madison. I still can't believe it. Pretty creepy, if you ask me.

HI Ed,

I can access conservapedia from my Charter account (of course!). What do you want to know (keeping in mind that everything in it is reviewed and approved by Ann Coulter).

I was able to look at a number of pages, but when I clicked on the link for the page "Examples of absurdities in Wikipedia" I was blocked. It wasn't so much that I wanted to see the page all that badly, but it is shocking to me that they would block someone from viewing a page based on geographical location. Madison, the hotbed of liberalism, homosexuality and all other things sinful.

Here's the address, if you want to try it:

Wow.
I wasn't blocked at all- guess my Comcast account from MN is a.o.k.

And yeah, what's up with 9 of the top 10 searches being VERY specific and VERY odd and VERY homosexual?

Hmmm....

It certainly makes one wonder what's going on in their heads, doesn't it? Probably best not to think about it too much. That way lies madness.
